Shut-off valve does not close. Liquid emerges though lever is not activated.

Pressure bolt (O-ring) not greased / lubricated

Grease pressure bolt.

Pressure bolt (O-ring) defective

Replace pressure bolt.

Spring defective.

Replace spring.

Lever at shut-off valve loose

Lever defective

Replace lever.

Shut-off valves - adapter to spray wand leaky

Spray wand not screwed in tightly.

Screw in spray wand tightly.

O-ring/gasket missing or defective.

Replace O-ring / gasket

Shut-off valves - hose connection leaky

Hose coupling is not screwed in tightly.

Fix hose coupling tightly.

Hose defective.

Replace hose.

Hose connection (clamp or cap nut) defective.

Fix hose with replaced clamp and cap nut.

Tank leaky at hose connection

Hose coupling not screwed in tightly.

Screw in hose coupling tightly.

Hose defective.

Replace hose.

Hose clamp (not at every sprayer model) defective.

Replace hose clamp.

Gasket at hose coupling missing or leaky.

Replace gasket.

Nozzle - Connection to spray wand leaky

Nozzle not screwed in tightly.

Screw in nozzle tightly.

Gasket missing or leaky.

Replace gasket.

Nozzle - Bad spray pattern

Nozzle is blocked.

Unscrew nozzle, clean it, clean also swirl core.

Nozzle is worn out.

Replace nozzle.

Nozzle generates no flat jet

Swirl core is missing.

Replace swirl core.

Liquid too viscous.

Use flat jet nozzle
